2020 will again see St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival hit the laneways of Australia and once again cross the ditch to party in New Zealand. The dates have just been announced so it’s time to get your crew together and lock in that annual leave! Word on the street is you do not want to miss this!

With a new year, new festival approach the lineup isn’t the only thing that’s new! With the festival having announced a fresh move from Sydney’s SCA in Rozelle where it has called home for the past ten years, to The Domain in the middle of the city. While the Fremantle 2020 date will even follow suit with Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and, Adelaide seeing the festival open to a new generation of younger festival goers with new age restrictions of 16+. A move many younger fans are loving and one we are too!

Proving the perfect start to 2020 the Laneway Festival party kicks off at Auckland’s Albert Park on January 27, before making it’s way over to Australian soil in Brisbane where we start the month of February off right at the Brisbane Showgrounds on February 1st. Sunday February 2nd sees the festival take up its new home at Sydney’s The Domain before heading to Hart’s Mill in Port Adelaide on February 7th. Melbourne gets their turn when the celebrations continue at Footscray Park on February 8th. Before the festival finishes up its run over in Western Australia, on Sunday February 9 at Fremantle’s Esplanade reserve.

The lineup drop is expected to land on September 18 and if last year’s lineup featuring headliners Gang Of Youths and Courtney Barnett was anything to go by then it’s going to be BIG and festival goers are sure to be in for a treat!
