Trent Reznor promised us two new major Nine Inch Nails projects in 2017, but has given us a taste of things to come with the band’s new Not The Actual Events EP available to stream and purchase right now.
The EP, recorded with English maestro Atticus Ross, contains five new tracks: Branches/Bones, Dear World, She’s Gone Away (featuring Reznor’s wife Mariqueen Maandig on the chorus), The Idea Of You (featuring Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl on drums) and Burning Bright (Field On Fire) (featuring Jane’s Addiction’s Dave Navarro on guitar), that are probably Reznor’s moodiest and heaviest work to date.
