Broody Australian singer/songwriter Nick Cave has lost his 15-year old son Arthur in a tragic cliff fall in the UK.
BBC reports the teen was found with life-threatening injuries on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap in Brighton at 18:00 BST on Tuesday. He was taken to the Royal Sussex County hospital, according to Sussex Police, but died as a result of his injuries.
In a statement released on behalf of the family, Nick and Susie Cave said:
Our son Arthur died on Tuesday evening. He was our beautiful, happy loving boy. We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this difficult time.
Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious, and the Coroner is investigating.
Our thoughts are with the Cave family at this time.
