Some unsettling news is coming through from America today, with reports that Wayne Static (formerly Static-X) has died at the age of 48.
Metalunderground.com reports that people close to Static have confirmed the death, which is believed to be drug-related, although no official statement has been released.
Static was due to embark on a North American tour this week, following on from the Wisconsin Death Trip tour earlier this year.
