With five Australian ARIA Platinum singles, over 10 million albums sold, 100 million singles sold and more than 11 billion song streams under his belt, 21-year old Shawn Mendes is the third youngest solo artist to have three number one debut albums on the Billboard 200.
Nominated for ARIA’s Best International Artist for 2019, the Canadian singer-songwriter is about to hit Aussie shores for his third solo headline tour in support of his hugely-anticipated self-titled third studio album.
The worldwide tour kicked off in Amsterdam in March this year and will end in Mexico City in December, with an estimated audience over one million across 106 shows. Extra shows were added in Sydney and Melbourne due to high demand.
Both Shawn’s most recent 2017 tour Illuminate and 2016 world tour were sell outs, and this current tour is expected to see a record sell out crowd.
Mendes will be joined by supporting Grammy Award-winning duo Dan + Shay with a special appearance from acclaimed teen-sensation Ruel in Brisbane and Auckland
This will be the first time that the TIME Most Influential Artist will perform in Adelaide, in addition to return performances in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in October and November 2019.
