Nautical Mile Sets Sail With New Tour

Hailing from Western Australia, Perth-born pop-punk band Nautical Mile have just announced they’re heading back to the east coast on tour, to celebrate the launch of their new single Marionette.

Fresh out of the studio where they’ve been  locked away and busy writing new music the band have said, “We’re very excited to be heading back on tour, It has been a hot minute since we were on the road with Regicide, so we are eager to get back over. Stopping off at Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, we will be launching the track with a bang.”

And a bang it will be. The tour kicks off on August 23, in their hometown of Perth at the Amplifier Bar. With support provided  from local bands Carrington, Dead Sea and Ferncroft. Nautical Mile then head to Brisbane where they play The Brightside on August 29. Supporting the band for their Brisbane leg is a jam packed line-up with Sleepwell, Kid Fly, Grizzlyshark and All Hours. A lineup definitely not to be missed!

Sydney fans will again be delighted with Nautical Mile when they play the Burdekin Hotel on August 30th. Supported by bands Speakeasy and Capitol Affair

The tour then wraps up in Melbourne where the band plays The Workers Club on September 1st. With the show featuring Melbourne bands Spectral Fires, Loose End and Red Morning Light

if you haven’t heard of Nautical Mile, now is the time to get acquainted. They combine heavy rhythms with catchy, powerful vocals with songs that tell stories of revenge, heartbreak, love, life and loss.

This band promises a killer live show and our very own Brittany Long can vouch for them personally, having seen them perform several times in Melbourne. You’ll catch Girl at Nautical Mile’s Melbourne show.

Previous single ‘Better Half Of Me’ and recent single Regicide have all had their time in the spotlight and been a hit leaving fans wanting more! Well more is just around the corner. Nautical Mile’s upcoming track Marionette tells the story of someone whose relationship is killing them, until they come to the realisation that they’re sick of being used. They gather the strength to liberate themselves from the harmful situation and grow from adversity. Marionette promises more catchy vocals and everything Nautical Mile fans know and love!

Nautical Mile are on the up and you’d be silly not to take the opportunity to witness their show live.
