North Queensland band King Social literally caused jaws to drop on the auditions of Australia’s Got Talent last night, moving them through to the semi finals.
The 2015 Queensland Music Award nominees have been performing in and around North Queensland for three years, recently taking their unique fusion of country, rock, pop and hip hop to Brisbane and Sydney, where they auditioned for the annual talent show.
This year’s judges, including Eddie Perfect, Kelly Osbourne, Sophie Monk and Ian “Dicko” Dickson, gave the band four solid ‘yes’ votes, which takes them through to the semi-finals, from which the public will be allowed to vote.
