Juggalos rejoice – Insane Clown Posse is returning to Oz next year to headline a Gathering of the Juggalos festival.
Violent J made the announcement during an epic 42-minute speech at the most recent Gathering of the Juggalos in the US.
“This is true,” he said.
“This is not bullshit. In the year 2015, which according to my Gucci watch is next year, Psychopathic Records will be putting on a mini Gathering of sorts in the country of Australia,” after which Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope began arguing about whether Australia is a country and if it’s really hotter than Guatemala.
The news comes days after two ‘suspected Juggalos’ allegedly attacked a fellow ‘suspected Juggalo’ in Maryland, with the two men allegedly attempting to cut off their roommate’s Juggalo tattoo and, upon failing, setting the man on fire.
A US judge also recently dismissed a lawsuit intended to overturn a 2011 FBI report that label’s ICP’s fans as a ‘loosely organised hybrid gang.’
ICP toured Australia as recently as 2013. We can’t wait for the full mini-Gathering lineup announcement.
